Baptistry Hire Prices

The hire is for all necessary equipment: a baptistry; heater (if ordered); pipe for filling and emptying; tap adaptors; an electric pump for emptying; insulating cover; basepads to protect floor and liner, and a step for in the water (additional steps may be available if requested). Full instructions are also enclosed. We send the baptistries in cardboard boxes and plastic crates on a pallet.
The hire venue MUST be staffed 9-5 for the day of delivery and return.

* All delivery fees for BAPTISTRIES currently have an additional fuel charge. This was put on by the pallet carriers with little warning. This does not affect heaters or inflatable baptistries.

In Wales, the counties of Conwy, Denbighshire, Flint and Wrexham would get the discount.
- Man & Van For people in West Midlands, NE Wales, Lancashire and West Yorkshire – £180 for drop off and collection, or meet halfway at, say, motorway services and go halves. This would be Thursday / Fridays only. Please contact us to discuss this: 0345 230 1381 or email us. This would be for the delivery and return collection.
- Prices on Application (POA) – Scotland up to the central belt is the standard charge but from Dundee (DD) northwards, and for Northern Ireland, please contact us and we will work out the best price.
Heaters:
- Option 1 – Royal Mail outwards and return, which costs £28 for both ways. You would take the labelled heater to your local post office and get the proof of postage.
- Option 2 – Royal Mail outwards, and DPD (hour time slot) for the return- £56
Delivery Information
Baptistries are sent out via a pallet service.The pallet carrier gives an estimated time window for delivery only. For the return collection, they will turn up on the arranged day (usually the Monday following the service).
The address for baptistry delivery and collection MUST be staffed 9-5 on the days of delivery and collection. If this is not possible, use a home or work address. If arranged before despatch, it is possible to have different delivery and collection addresses. If the venue cannot be staffed 9-5 for the return collection, then there can be no hire. This isn’t negotiable.
The boxes for the baptistry will arrive on one pallet, so it is unlikely any part will go astray. The driver will bring it to your door, as close as they can get to it.
As the pallet will be moved on a pallet truck, please consider whether the pallet can reach your front door. Narrow gates, fences, gravel paths, steps, etc. mean you may need to carry the boxes. And for the return, it would mean you need to carry the boxes to restack the pallet.
- Keep the pallet for the return collection – re-box the baptistry as it came to you, seal the boxes and place them on the pallet. The driver will need the pallet to collect them. They will re-wrap them.
Am I too late? Cut-off point for despatches
It depends where the church is. But as a guide, for any weekend hire, the cut-off will be noon the previous Tuesday for pools, and noon the previous Wednesday for any smaller items such as heaters. Items can be sent out after this time but they may not arrive in time. For heaters, there is the option of them being sent by Royal Mail Guaranteed Next Day for a higher delivery charge.
